Selecting and sourcing products, goods, raw materials and assets according to the purchasing strategy, negotiating and optimising their costs; coordinating the flow and stocks of products, goods and raw materials upstream of the production chain.<\/p>\n\n

Functional attachment: Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager <\/p>\n\n

Reporting line: Purchasing \/ supply assistant; buyers<\/p>\n\n

Cross-functional link with the sales department, production, planning and finance.<\/p>\n\n

In relation with external service providers (transport, logisticians, administrative authorities (customs), suppliers and subcontractors)<\/p>\n\n

Description of significant activities : <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n
  1. Conducting a tender and analysing the responses; <\/li>
  2. Drawing up specifications; <\/li>
  3. Negotiate purchase contracts, optimise purchase prices; <\/li>
  4. Identify (sourcing) suppliers, subcontractors and external service providers; <\/li>
  5. Evaluate suppliers, control deadlines (credit management); <\/li>
  6. Handle and monitor disputes with suppliers;<\/li>
  7. Monitoring contract performance conditions; <\/li>
  8. Set up key indicators and dashboards to measure the performance of the actions carried out: stock rotation rate, delivery times, availability rate, etc. Monitor and update the KPIs; <\/li>
  9. Coordinate and participate in the realization of raw material and goods inventories by measuring the differences in order to ensure coherence between the physical stock and the computerized stock; check the stock statements and analyze them (costs and obsolescence);<\/li>
  10. Define and anticipate supply requirements according to the company’s stocks and needs;<\/li>
  11. Coordinate the activity of a small team;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n

    • Take all measures relating to the respect of the negotiated conditions and the respect of the specifications; <\/li>
    • Take any corrective action or not with the competent authorities (customs) and report back; <\/li>
    • Ensure that supply deadlines are met; <\/li>
    • Leading, organising and supervising the work of his team and evaluating their performance; <\/li>
    • Alert to possible malfunctions related to the transport of goods and finished products, suggest and implement corrective measures and actions.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n

      Specific professional knowledge : <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n
      • Mastering office automation tools ; <\/li>
      • Is familiar with tendering procedures<\/li>
      • Know the regulations (national and international) of the products and their transport conditions; <\/li>
      • Good knowledge of logistics information systems, planning and stock management; <\/li>
      • Good knowledge of customs regulations.<\/li>
      • Good knowledge of E-procurement; <\/li>
      • Knowledge of the company’s sector of activity and understanding of the environment in which the company operates;<\/li>
      • Mastering professional technical English;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n
